"Stayed plenty of times, slightly dated bathrooms but super comfortable sleep. Free & plentiful parking with restaurant/pub on doorstep. Can't complain at all for price."

"This is a room only glamping pod with remote toilets and shower. It was ideal as we had days at The Open in Southport. The site had coffee shop, pub and restaurant which were good. The pods are ok but light in the morning as there were no blinds. Toilets and shower were ok with good shower pressure but the toilet block was tired and could do with some maintenance. Overall for a few nights stop for our Open golf stay it was value for money."

"Wrightington is a bit awkward compared to other hotels in that they refuse to open a tab in the bar. It also felt a bit degrading being pulled to the side and forced to pay for breakfast. Would be much more convenient if you could add this when booking. Other than that service and staff is amazing. (Except for the Manhattan style Mojito I was served. Interesting but further trials/experimentation is not required)"

"Staff here are so friendly and brilliant. Room 3 was kind of average hotel room in the UK size but beds were on the small side. We had booked a twin room but both beds were small. I am 6ft 4 and the beds have ends made of wood so i had to sleep diagonally with my legs dangling over the side. Wasn't great. Shower was awkward, we couldn't get the temperature dial to work so just came out baking hot. Given the fact it was ground floor the window could be fully opened (maybe a fire escape...

"Sadly the rooms need updating, no plugs by the mirror, no plugs by the bed and no phone charger plugs. No air con in the room, was provided a small fan however it was very lacking in power so not very helpful, we had a very uncomfortable night and did not sleep very well. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and staff very friendly."

"Our plans changed and the staff were really helpful in helping change our booking. The pub next to the accommodation had really good food/drink at reasonable prices. Lots of parking available and overall really good value for money"

"When arrived on a very hot day we were told lift was out of order. We stayed in the highest floor and the furthest away room so not very helpful lift being out of order. No welcome bottles of water considering the weather small touch like that would have gone a long way. Breakfast was dried up bacon and stuck warmed up scrambled egg. The rooms are very small with no air con and tiny window that didn’t let much air in😡. It was convienient stay over as was attending another hotel for a wedding."
