Iceland Hotels

We loved staying here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room had a great Mountain View. It’s one of the cutest hotels we’ve stayed in. I wish there was a drop box for keys, we left early in the morning but the lobby was locked so we couldn’t check out. We left our key in the room and called the hotel at 7 am to let them know. We had already prepaid so it wasn’t a big deal. Highly recommend this cute little getaway hotel.

The apartment was really nice, the only thing is that the lock was too short to work, so we just had to block the door!

Our stay was fantastic. Would stay again. Small, but very clean and stylish hotel. SOLID breakfast options. Great service at the restaurant. Felt like we were eating a classy dinner. And the BUTTER at this restaurant is phenomenal. It's been over a week since we stayed here and we can't stop talking about the bread and butter.

We stayed here for 1 night. We reached a bit after dark and it was our first night in Iceland. The guy at the reception did not understand much English. It was very dark as there is no light pollution. It would have been helpful if he had come with us to show the room, as we had to cross a little bridge after parking our car and we were fumbling in the dark. Perfect location to walk around Reykjavík. Lots of food options, shops and bars on the same street. The hotel staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Everyone on-site spoke English and gave advice. It is street parking which you have to pay for, it is free after 6PM though.

My stay at Alda & Iceland itself was wonderful. As a solo traveler I felt safe at the hotel & the front desk staff was very helpful as well as friendly! Room was cute & clean. They provided a coffee maker & mini fridge which I stored some items from the Bonus store 2 mins away. I was sad to leave.

This was THE coolest place to stay, our favorite place of our entire trip. I would 100%recommend The beds were so comfortable and clean, the surroundings were amazing, how could you not love waking up in a bubble in the middle of the forest. Loved loved it!

Nice laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Can wake up to the sounds of the waves and spend some time by the water. We were able to see the northern lights from right outside of our hut. A fair price for lodging and an amazing experience.

This was a lovely property and a great place to stay. I would highly recommend it to anybody overnighting in Selfoss.

I had an unfortunate tragedy occur during the flight to Iceland where my wife passed away. The staff here at Storm hotel were over and above extremely accommodating, kind and caring. They had a room ready for me early and blocked it off for me for the duration of my extended stay. The clerks at the front desk were all so nice, caring and friendly, and made me feel as comfortable as possible. When I hadn't been down to breakfast they graciously brought food up to my room for me. Words cannot...

Beautiful hotel with great views! This hotel is an excellent value with comfortable rooms and onsite dining and bar. The service was impeccable too!

We stayed our first night at Hotel Selfoss. It is located facing the river, which was a great view to wake up to. The continental breakfast was great! Dining in the restaurant looking at the river was a perfect way to start the morning. The hotel has a modern and stylish feel to it.

Great hotel! The room was super clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view. The breakfast was also excellent with a great selection. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great place to stay if you plan on visiting the Vatnajökull National Park. We came from the west so we were able to visit the Vatnajökull Glacier Lagoon right before checking into our hotel, but we went back the very next day because it was so beautiful and because this hotel was close by. Our room was comfy, cozy, and the breakfast here was the best we had in Iceland! Loved this place!!!

We were totally surprised by the hotel Klaustur. The accommodations and on-site restaurant were top notch. Definitely a must stay whenever we are back in this part of Iceland.

We arrived at the hotel very late - around 11 pm or so after a long day with a delayed flight. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately for us, the restaurant was closed, but they have a bar open all night long with skyr, sandwiches and delicious cakes, which is great if you arrive late and need a snack!
