Having your own cottage a few steps from an amazing beach is a rare thing in this age of mega resorts. No steel drum bands, restaurants, or nightclubs at this property, but there is plenty of that nearby. A rental car or taxi is definitely needed. The staff is incredibly helpful and will go the extra mile to get you whatever you need. The hotel has a breathtaking view of the town & the Caribbean Sea but somehow those aren’t even the best parts. The best part of the experience was the staff, they are the friendliest, warmest staff I’ve ever come across. Wonderful energy at Bel Jou, will definitely be back!

I can't say enough nice things about the hotel - wonderful staff, great food, scenic location, and unique rooms on hillside. You could spend the day just relaxing on the beach or engage in in the many included activities - snorkeling right off the beach, kayaking, paddleboarding, or sailing on small sunfish boats. I traveled solo end of April. I felt very safe and the staff were so nice and welcoming. It was not crowded at that time and pretty quiet. The complimentary rum punch at arrival was a nice touch. Beautiful Mediterranean style villas. Some nice amenities including WiFi, beach towel, beach chairs, shuttles to get you around the property (there are steep hills everywhere), free fitness classes and activities, breakfast (i did not do all inclusive) and live music. The stay was really wonderful. The rooms were very clean and the service was topnotch all the way around. My only complaint is the food was very expensive. We were grateful to have a market nearby to get a breakfast items for our room to cook each morning. I don't mind staying in luxury hotels and paying premium prices but somehow I feel the food should be reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet for two was $80 without a tip. Outside of that, I can't say enough great things about the resort.

We had a lovely week of family holiday in one of the Marigot Oasis (Lush) villas. The staff (Quincie, Miranda and George) were all delightful and extremely helpful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice, peaceful stay in St Lucia with a beautiful view and luxurious isolation from tourists and cruise ships.

This place was great, I almost didn't want to leave a good review because I want to keep this gem to myself! The staff was friendly and very personable. The property also isnt too far from anything. I had one small issue with my room and it was rectified within minutes. All in all I had a great stay.
