It's a great location away from the busy life of the city. The lake is crystal clear and great to swim in though we did not see other swimmers. The rooms are small, yet suffice. I'll probably come back again.
This property was absolutely epic. Extremely fast communication, gorgeous house and delicious dinner coordinated during a time when most things are shut. Mari and her team were so great. We regretted we didn't have more than one night to enjoy this picturesque village and perfect house. It surpassed all expectations. My group was 6 family members and we stayed at 8 different places all over Japan for a two week adventure and all 6 agreed this property ranked #1 of all. Can't wait to return and...
The view was amazing and the property could not be beat! The staff was so kind, the village is right on the beach, the restaurant is delicious and the bar is outstanding. Truly worth visiting just to stay here. So amazing!
Thank you, Toyoko Inn! I have stayed in Toyoko Inn in several cities. This property matched my previous experiences: The service was kind and courteous, the room was comfortable and clean, with modern amenities. Buffet breakfast was good. This is not a luxury hotel, but I find the rooms are more spacious than comparable chains. Finally: directions from Tsuruga Station: I ignored Google directions totake the East Gate and walk 20 minutes. Follow signs to the West Gate and from there, it's less...
This is a very local non touristy village. We enjoyed the hospitality (even if we couldn’t communicate)
The owner helped accomadate my sea food allergy. We really liked the hot bath available in the beautiful water. The only thing I would say is that it isn’t close to anything and you have to walk about 22 minutes to the train
