Absolutely lovely and comfortable home just out of town. A 200 year old villa fully restored on property that includes gardens. The owner was very gracious and efficient and the breakfast was amazing. It takes about 7 minutes to go to the town center in car. Note that the road to town and to the house are tight so go slow and drive carefully.
The hotel was great, however the Maitre De in the restaurant was a complete jerk! I decided to try it and she was acting fine until I said that I wanted just an appetizer and from that point on she completely ignored me and was speaking very negatively about me to my waiter (who was great) She thought that I couldn't understand what she was saying in sicilian however I understood what she was saying and it was NOT GOOD!
What a lovely place to spend a leisurely afternoon and evening. Dinner was spectacular and so reasonably priced. We took a couple walks and sat outside on our lovely patio area. One warning though -- do NOT leave your shoes or any clothing outside. We had a pair of drying socks and shoes and a bra munched on (one shoe was actually taken away to be found completely demolished the following morning) by the cute but wily Sicilian foxes living onsite! They were pretty bold and we needed to make lots...
It was a good omen when we were greeted by a double rainbow arcing from the hillside as we arrived to the villa. The building is neat, clean and whimsically decorated and furnished. Small and simple, our stay here was a welcome break from staying in cities and fighting for a parking space. The villa is not walking distance to dinner or activities, but is is so peaceful and relaxing that it just doesn't matter. There is a town nearby with a decent restaurant for dinner, or just bring some wine,...
Great value for the price. The views are stunning, especially at night from multiple terraces. Less than a 10 minute drive to central Piazza Armerina, and there is a supermarket about within walking distance (or a very short drive). This B and B is very welcoming with no codes to enter, time restrictions, or other typical hassles - it was as if we had this large home to ourselves even though there were other guests (who were lodged in different parts of the large home). The host, Luciano,...
We had a wonderful stay! The gentleman at check-in was incredibly nice and welcoming.
He personally guided us to the parking area and also prepared a delicious breakfast for us. His kindness and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this place!
The staff was extremely helpful at all times. Our stay was very relaxing with the beautiful property, gardens, pool, etc. The wine tour was excellent ! The dinners in the garden were lovely with an experienced sommelier. It was very enjoyable!
We loved everything about this property! It is a historic building set in the beautiful Sicilian countryside, close to the lovely baroque town of Naro. The rooms are very comfortable & and very well appointed. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The owner and staff were extremely kind and helpful! We highly recommend it!
We stayed only one night, had a great experience and very comfortable stay at this nice and quiet B&B. The property has been remodeled recently, everything is new with artsy details. The host was very nice and prepared a great breakfast. Thank you for the hospitality!
Beautiful appointed room in great location with excellent restaurants close by. Alessio is a great host and always ready to help. Our trip purpose was to go to Villa Romana Del Casale, just 10 minute drive.
