Polizzi Generosa, where the B&B is located, is a small town, 90 km away from Palermo, in a medieval city on the top of one of the hills. If you want to experience real Sicily, this is the place to go. It is up in the mountains and the GPS is confused, so better set it up for Piazza dei Medici than for the actual hotel address. We arrived a bit earlier than expected but Nino was able to greet us within about 15 mins and allowed us entry onto the property where we could park and check in. The room was a bit small but this is a classic B&B so we had use of the entire kitchen and property; found ourselves later in the evening able to have a private dinner overlooking a gorgeous sunset from their veranda. The property is even cuter in real life than in photos. The breakfast was great and having ability to hang out by the pool, as well as to do laundry was super beneficial. The facility manager is the most helpful human i have encountered in my personal or professional life. The only thing to be aware of is that the property is on a largehill/small mountain. It is steep enough that I couldn't wear leather soled shoes going up or down and had to get barefoot. There is a shuttle but we were not...

The apartment was clean and user friendly. We appreciated having a kitchen and free parking. The view of Cefalu from this hilltop cannot be beat! It was seriously remarkable. I would stay here again.

Dario was very responsive all along. We only stayed one night due to timing of our rental car pickup. But the setting for Villa Rosa is captivating- on a hill in Cefalu overlooking the sea. Parking was available and free. Dario gave us directions to the rental car agency. Breakfast was served on a lovely porch buffet style. There was a variety of options- and it was good. Croissant, hard boiled egg, yogurts, fruit and of course, coffee. If travelers wanted, town and the beach were walkable.

Perfect location in an amazing town

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This horribly amazing resort will ruin every other hotel or the rest of you life. Nothing will match up. This great disaster of a hotel has sicking views, disgustingly polite staff, food that you won’t stop eating and an overall aura of euphoria that will leave you in shaking withdrawals upon checkout. My relationship will surely suffer and end soon... my girlfriend will expect this sort of treatment on all vacations moving forward, I could never duplicate. We also cried pool...

Very nice location and beautiful room and view

A wonderful small hotel that is clean and serves a wonderful breakfast. We loved Cefalu and the hotel was perfect. The owner gave us a few great recommendations to eat and they were they. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful time staying at A Tonnara. The B&B was private, clean, and very modern. It has all the goods as a big hotel. It is on the Mediterranean Sea but there is no access. However, there are beach access points a short drive away. Giovanni was wonderful and so very helpful. You will not be disappointed.

Location was great! Although it is about 10ish minutes walk from the train station, walking over with your luggage is worth the work because once you drop off your bags, you are in the heart of the city and will not need to drive anywhere!! We have an excellent stay, communication was very clear, breakfast was excellent, the room AC worked well! We would happily stay again!!

Everyone on the property was friendly and helpful. Gio at the front desk was AMAZINGz
