The service was excellent and very friendly. Staff assisted with winery visit bookings and dinner recommendations and bookings. Room was spacious and well appointed. The only negative was the housekeeping staff failed to stock toilet paper and soap so requests had to be made when we ran out. The hotel was tucked away in a small town just outside of Montefalco. The rooms (including bathroom) were very large and decorated to the hilt. The owner makes the pastries (about 6-8) every morning. They have a wonderful dog, Pepo on premises which is very friendly and affectionate. We tried the restaurant and it was good as well. Service was impeccable
We had a lovely stay at Il Rietro. The setting was picturesque, the service impeccable, and the room sparkling clean and comfortsble. The restaurant was also a complete delight with excellent service, delicious wine and amazing food. I hope we'll have the opportunity to visit again. Grazie!
Our hosts were very friendly and super responsive over What’s App (they were also patient as there was a language barrier). They were very flexible with our schedule for breakfast time. Their space was clean and very home-like. My husband and I would 100% recommend.
Nothing major, just small things that kept it from being perfect. I would have liked a coffee pot and microwave. The floors needed a better vacuuming.

I don't know where the disconnect was but I thought I was booking the full apartment but was initially placed in a very small single room with bathroom. Day trips to Assisi and Orvieto were amazing, but you must have a rental car.

We spent a weekend with my wife. We go to Spoleto quite often, but this was our first time in this hotel. The hotel is a bit further away from the historical center, but not too much. It is like 20 minutes walking. In addition, it is closer to the Spoleto-Norcia route for those who like to hike and bike. The hotel has been recently refurbished, so it looks very nice. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We'll definitively come back!
Myself and partner both in our 70’s stayed 8 nights. The grounds are beautiful. Excellent breakfast included. Staff helpful. Alessia was helpful for us as English speakers with little to non Italian. Close to Assisi. If I were to come back, I would definitely stay here.
