My husband and I and another couple stayed one night here after driving up the west coast and for the proximity to the archeological site Tharros. Franco made us dinner reservations, gave us a map and suggested other places to visit in the region. And after returning from dinner we sat at their table for drinks and great conversations. This was our favorite hotel in Sardinia. It is such a unique beautiful landscape around the property. The road to the hotel is about 45 mins on a dirt road which was both shocking and sooo cool. The restaurant was lovely. The pool area was gorgeous and always had seats open in June. Truly a magical place.
L'Abete is a lovely, quiet place. Manager Marco was superb, really a fine, nice person who make me feel welcome and who wanted to be as helpful as he could. I was without a car, and L'Abete is a quarter to a half mile away from the nearest good restaurants and sites. But it was a nice stay; and even better if you want some quiet rest time!
We spent in this hotel 9 days and it was the best holiday ever. The hotel is very unique and the staff is so kind, especially Isabella and Sorin at the reception. The pool and the rooms are beautiful. The only problem was the breakfast, it was a bit poorly for us, because we not used to eat sweet food (cake, muffin) in the morning. But we will come back for sure!
Beautiful property in a quaint little town...went in october so fairly quiet but view was impeccable and nice large room...definitely walk around the corner and have lunch or dinner at Aqua. The hotel breakfast was fantastic as well.
We loved staying here. The bed was very comfortable and the room location was quiet. We arrived later than expected and the host called to check on us which was very nice. We made arrangements for the key. It is actually around the corner from where TomTom took us, so if using that system just continue until end of road and turn left and it is there on the left. This is the third time that we stayed at the Hotel. Always good service, and plenty of things to to in the area. Excellent continental breakfast, A/C was working great. Staff is always gentle and ready to help. Recommended.
