"The staff were really friendly and helpful We always had a chat - not sure if that’s because we were the only Brits in Algiers and so might have been novelty value - but nevertheless they were brilliant. The location is excellent - right by the metro station However - be aware it is opposite a beautiful mosque - and so you will get the early call to prayers - and it is loud. ALSO - very positive - a taxi driver who does some work for them and lives virtually next door “Youcef Sabour”...

"The hotel is very well located on the edge of the casbah and has lots of charm. We found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We stayed twice (first for 3 nights and then for our last night in Algeria) and would totally recommend this accommodation for budget travellers who want to be in the very centre of the city centre. "I was given a single room with a single bed for me and my teenage son. I paid for a double room and I was told that I couldn't get any room at first because the hotel was overbooked. I was given a single room with a queen size after insisting. The beds metal was out. Im still recovering."
