The hotel is located outside the city of Bath. It's about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, so we took a local bus. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Gems assisted us at check-in and printed out the bus schedule for us!! She was very pleasant as well as all the other staff. We were having dinner at the hotel, and she walked us to the dining room. Great customer service! From holding our luggage when we arrived early, to accepting a delivery for us, and helping us book a taxi, all the staff were extremely helpful and nice. The location was also very convenient and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

The staff were so helpful and room was very clean. I had both breakfast and dinner at the Bistro, the food was so delicious! I would definitely stay here again if I came back to the Bristol. The building itself and window views were aesthetically pleasing.

The room is comfy and clean. We stayed there for one night. No bad thing I can remember.

This place was the perfect spot. We all live in a city and couldn’t be more excited to stay at such a wonderful little farmhouse. The English countryside is gorgeous and the farmhouse let’s you see it right outside of your window. The space is clean and had everything we needed, a home away from home, with lots of rooms. The breakfast was delicious!! We cannot wait to find a reason to go back.

The hotel is so beautiful and clean! The room looked brand new even though the building is extremely old. The staff though are next level. So kind and helpful! The only negatives would be the shower, that doesn’t keep water inside, and since there are not any restaurants nearby it would be nice if breakfast was included or there was a discount for the restaurant downstairs.

We loved that the hotel is upscale but also kid friendly. The children’s amenities were great!

The owners were just amazing. She even did our laundry for us. She was so sweet. The bathroom was clean with updated amenities and the home was clean, quiet, and a wonderful place to relax. Love how close the home is to the pub.

This charming Inn was just what we wanted, old world charm mixed with great accommodations. The food from breakfast to dinner was wonderful. The garden area was equally warm and inviting.

Outstanding pub! Well appointed rooms, tasteful and charming decor. We stayed here while walking the Cotswold Way. We had lunch in town before checking in and chatted with locals in the area. Each time we said we had reservations at The Crown the response would be ‘oh, great pub!’, or ‘delicious food’, or ‘oh, that’s a proper pub’. The Crown lived up to it all! Everything about this charming countryside retreat was what we hoped for and more. The staff was a welcoming and alsways there to help. The food was delicious and better than we expected. Our room generously sized, modern and comfortably appointed. (We did request a fan though as there’s no air conditioning, and the staff was quick to oblige.)
