"The Dolphin is perfectly positioned for a visit to Beer. Room was very spacious, breakfast was very good and being dog friendly the hotel is very convenient. The evening dinner period can be very busy so do expect some delay for your food to be served. However, the staff are very polite and courteous, thank you the Dolphin team :)"

"Room 12 shower room was desperately in need of some tlc the tiles in the shower were taped over, the shower didn’t drain away the saniflo and pipe work had been left exposed from a previous repair- this let the whole room down and needs attention"

"A very pleasant and convenient base for a short Dorset stay. Room very clean and comfortable and usefully a restaurant and bar on site if you didn't want to go out to eat. Good comprehensive breakfast offering too, Our room did look out over adjacent building rooftops -not great - maybe request more open view room. There was a very active mini race track adjacent too but noise stopped early evening - you can see that on Google Earth. Overall, with great staff and good value we would use again happily"
