It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter.

I stayed here only one night and I wish I could have stayed longer. The room was lovely; there was some noise from the restaurant/bar but that ended around 10pm. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The staff was beyond wonderful. I felt so at home from the moment I got there to the time that I left. We had a wonderful two nights at The Grove. Richard, Michael, and their staff greeted us and treated us as long lost family. Locally sourced menu, more than comfortable, clean rooms. After an unfortunate flat tyre, all hands to the wheel to help and comfort us. A group of walkers shared the lounge with us upon our return and were equally solicitous, folding us into their adventures. Great central location, with a grocery store only a minutes walk away. Breakfast was very good and seemed to options for everyone. We were in Norwich during July, and the temperature was nearly 40c, we chose this hotel for the AC.
