"We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. "Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way .
Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery.
So glad we had booked as they were turning people away !

The hotel is pet friendly which I like but for the rest not an option for me. A pity because I was expecting something different.

"Wonderful cottage. Thought of everything. Easy to find and good location for visiting local area. Hosts were so helpful giving us advice on where to visit & how to get there . Very tasty breakfast which sets you up for the day. Host really couldn’t have done any more to help. Fabulous place to stay will definitely return when visiting again."

Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). She cooked my breakfast and made sure I was made to feel VERY welcome. Sort of sorry to leave!"
