Service was impeccable! We loved the elegant grounds, and dinner was delicious.

Hôtel situé un peu à l' écart et accessible par un funiculaire à partir de l' hôtel NH city. Mais néanmoins bien situé proche des transports en commun,metro pour l aéroport et les tramways pour les différents sites de la ville. Chambre grande et bien équipée même si la décoration est light. Pdj de qualité de standard international. Le restaurant est agréable en terrasse l' été,mélange de cuisine locale et internationale. Personnel agréable et réactif, problème de climatisation réglé rapidement.

The staff was friendly and engaging, and the property grounds are just lovely - sandstone patios and walks leading into views of the village cliffs.

The staff was very welcoming and more than helpful. When we found ourselves in a bind because we needed fuel and the only service stations open were automated (which don't accept American credit cards), the hostess went with us and used her personal credit card to get us on the road again. (We paid her back with cash.)

Chateau was beautifully decorated. Small elevator to bring our bags to first floor. Owner helped carry bags from entrance stairs to elevator. Robert and his wife were gracious and helpful.

Every aspect of our stay was extremely lovely. The room and amenities were very spacious and lovely and it was very tastefully decorated. The breakfast on the terrace was delicious and beautifully served. Fransois and Helene were most welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed their 4 truffle hunting dogs. The hotel facilities are great, but, the staff is outstanding. All were extremely friendly and helpful. I will surely stay there the next time I am in Sarlat.

This is a gorgeous manor house in the heart of the Dordogne Valley next to the river. The views are spectacular and the gardens are beautiful. Be sure to get the breakfast because it is a feast of local flavors. Wonderful hosts who can make excellent dining recommendations. Worth the money for a once in a lifetime experience.

We spent 4 nights at the lovely Petit Manoir in the Josephine Baker room. The facilities were great, large bedroom and bath, lots of storage room for clothes, location couldn’t be beat, and historic ambiance was everywhere. For disabled or elderly, I would not recommend it bc you have to walk up a large wooden spiral staircase (yes there is a railing, but a bit tricky for those whose balance is a little off). This hotel was fantastic. The location was excellent with easy access to parking and the downtown hub. The staff was very friendly. The room was perfect. The bed was comfortable and everything was so clean. Would stay here again.

An authentic French countryside experience. Not the Ritz but incredibly comfortable and special. If you are okay with a few economies - older towels, for example - you will enjoy your stay. Great place tucked away with all the dordogne towns quickly accessible by car. Loved the property and pool. Paul and Marilou are exceptional mangers of the property.

The area is really close to the city center of Sarlat, but has a country feel. The room we stayed in was delightful with stone walls and decorated with antiques. The hosts gave us great suggestions for dinner the two nights we stayed there. The breakfast was filling.

A very convenient and comfortable base for our six-day exploration of the Périgord Noir region. Free parking. An easy walk into Sarlat old town.
