Only 10 minute walk from train station to the hotel which is the Old City. Hotel is the oldest in the city, built in 1893 and had been completely renovated. Our room was immaculate with a parlor decorated with antique furniture. Great buffet breakfast in the ballroom dining room. The hotel is surrounded by many good restaurants and a few minutes walk to the main attractions. The staff is very cordial and helpful. Excellent value!!
What a wonderfully unique property. So glad I booked this location. I did not use the map on the back of the check-in instructions so finding the room was difficult in the dark but I blame myself. A heads up to those booking, it is a large and wonderful outdoor campus so the map is very useful!!!

Now this was totally unexpected. I am originally from Pernitz, about 20 or so km from Wiener Neustadt, but live in Los Angeles. On this trip from the USA to Austria we were visiting friends in Ljubljana, and after arriving in Vienna we had planned to spend the night in Wiener Neustadt instead of Vienna to cut the trip to Ljubljana the next day shorter. Clean room in a suburban part of Neusiedl. No staff after 9 on the Sunday we arrived, only a key holder. No elevator. Good Austrian breakfast. Good for travelers passing through for one night.
Very nice, family-run pensjonat in a small village. Simple, but very pleasant and quiet. The whole staff was extremely helpful.
The village itself is small and doesn't have too many (and easy to find) grocery stores/supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants, but nice places are in Rust, a village 5 km away.
This is an astounding combination of upscale hotel with a full-service, multifaceted series of spa facilities. The hotel is efficiently run, very well-appointed in an understated way with spacious rooms and all amenities. Most, if not all, rooms have balconies.
