"This is a really unique and quirky property! We really enjoyed our room. We booked the top attic room with 5 twin beds and our kids/teens loved it! Really unique space with interesting history. I won't recommend it to people with mobility issues, as the stairs are steep and the ceiling has low beams. But for us it was a really fun experience. Other rooms may not be this way. Self check-in was easy! You just push open the old wooden door to enter the hotel. Once in the entryway, there is a ATM...

"The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet.The room was an OK size. The bathroom was a bit small but with the sink being in a separate area there was good space. The hotel is right on the doorstep of the Abbey District and other attractions are a short walk away. There is also good public transport connections nearby if you're looking to travel out further. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the hotel."

"An excellent hotel, the hotel staff is nice, we arrives early before the check-in time, the staff was so nice and helpful let us check in the room earlier as this is available.
We can refresh ourselves after a long overnight bus to St Gallen.
Location is very close to those tourist attraction too. Love to stay here again"

"St Gallen is a complicated city to get around by car as streets are very narrow so be sure to identify the designated public parking Spisertor. You will get a free parking ticket at the reception. If you plan to arrive after 7pm call the reception in advance so you can arrange how to pick up the room key. We arrived late and a nurse from Kursana Residence (other side of the building) helped us get the keys however it took us a while as she only spoke Swiss Deutsch which we could not understand...

"Really good hostel, stayed with my family although a little pricey….perhaps because of the euros football match. A little out of town but great views and accessed via tram or bus. These were free which was great but again I guess because of the football. Accommodation was refurbished and modern and breakfast really good. "

"The Hotel is lovely, very clean, our room was very spaces. No kettle or fridge in rooms, but there is a coffee machines downstairs that you can use for a fee. Only one negative for me there is only 1 mirror in the whole apartment we had and that was in the bathroom, so with 4 girls it didn’t work. "

"the location was beautiful, the facilities and rooms were spotless, and we made lots of use of the common space! the real star of the show was the manager/concierge dora - she helped us so much with getting around the city, recommendations for day trips, and making us feel so welcome and comfortable. she truly made our trip fantastic! we can not recommend staying here enough!
