Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal, sehr saubere Unterkunft, der Pool hatte eine angenehme Temperatur, das Frühstücksbüffet war umfangreich und war insbesondere mit hochwertigen Wurstwaren bestückt, die Brötchenauswahl war vielfältig und die Brötchen waren Bäckerware

Charming hotel in beautiful rural setting, surrounded by vineyard and apple orchard. Delicious food. Attentive and accommodating staff. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

My wife and I are on vacation in Germany and a stop in Rothenburg is a must. Checking in was simple. The desk clerk was very helpful and spoke English and German. Our room was on the top floor of the hotel facing the street. The room interior was clean, modern and furnished well. The bathroom was nice, spacious with a tub/shower combined. Centrally situated in old town, parking is a slight challenge. The hotel suggested using lot P4 or P5 to park overnight at 6 Euros. The walk is about 400...

Newly remodeled hotel in an older building in downtown Frickenhausen. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean, and everything looks brand new. Comfortable beds and the A/C works great. Friendly and helpful English-speaking staff, excellent breakfast, and nice beer garden. Free parking is a three-minute walk. We've stayed there twice during the summer of 2025. Would I stay there again? Yes!

I stayed at the Landwehrbrau for two nights with a colleague of mine. We had an exceptional stay from the time we arrived until we departed two days later. THe hotel is located about 4 miles from Rothenburg and is central located to many tourist stops in the area. The dinner is not to be missed nor is the brewery tour and tasting (for 8Euros pp). I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location! Rothenberg is not a easy place to park and this hotel has parking spaces which makes visiting Rothenburg for more than a day trip feasible. Friendly staff, really felt like we were guests visiting friends and family in their home, not a hotel space or generic feeling. Very quaint and lots of character. Would stay here again. Wish we would have stayed longer!

Clean and neat facilities. Good service from staff. Good free breakfast with personal service. Walking distance to city park and old town. No complaints!

Everything about our stay was amazing. We were warmly welcomed and all the staff was all top notch. Dinner was excellent. Our room was impeccable and the property is breathtaking. Breakfast was a highlight and we agreed the bed was the most comfortable out of all the places we stayed in our two week trip. We would love to return and spend more time. Highly recommend!

Well maintained and clean place. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The manager Filip was very kind and knowledgeable! The dining experience was absolutely superb. If I could give more stars, I would. He had very excellent wine pairings and was very helpful when we had questions. Helped us with our bags up and down the stairs. He even valeted the German super car we rented! Michael also made our breakfast experience smooth and easy. The staff is so friendly and attentive to their guests. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Our stay was amazing! This was our favorite place so far in Germany! The staff made us feel at home, breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the place is so clean and beautiful! We hope to come back and stay here soon!

Beautiful rooms and weathered wood and stone corridors and dining room that made you feel like you were in a medieval fairytale. Breakfast in the dining room was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and we so enjoyed the hotelier's hospitality. Staying here made our trip - and we considered staying another night! 10/10 would recommend.
