Right across from main station
Most places are within walking distance
Free coffee and water whole day long in lobby is a nice touch (especially in the cold winter season)
Check in and check out was very quick and staff were all very friendly and welcoming
Elevators were very new and fast
Room was as advertised, spacious and new
2 bathrooms with 1 toilet was clean and modern.
Water pressure was good
A fridge in room might have been more helpful
Beds were very comfortable
Sofa bed however needs a mattress change perhaps.. sunken in already
2 TVs (one in bedroom and one in hall)
Good selection of English channels
Breakfast was the best we have had in Europe
Fantastic variety and great food
Will definitely stay there if visiting St Gallen again

"Absolutely AMAZING views, comfortable rooms, and easy parking (an amazing amenity after being in larger towns in Germany & Austria!). There was some construction being done on the restaurant and community room, but there was a free breakfast provided for kloster guests at a nearby hotel. For dinner, take a short drive over to Ristorante Pizzeria Sapori for some amazing Italian food, and the most lovely restaurant owners!"

"I felt the hotel as a whole was absolutely fantastic. The welcoming and service by the staff was efficient and professional. Checking in online is the way to go!
