"The location across the street from the train station was extremely convenient and one of our primary reasons for choosing this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortably appointed. Breakfast is included and offers something for every taste - including bacon and eggs, fresh fruit, assorted breads with meat & cheese trays, yogurt, cereal, fruit juices, coffee, and tea. The staff was courteous and took time to answer our questions about using the Berchtesgaden guest card for bus travel and discounts for some attractions in the area."

"The hotel is located about a 20-minute walk from the lake. The room we got had a balcony that faced the roof of the inner courtyard. The room was spacious, and lacked electrical outlets for charging phones. The hotel has free parking and free internet. Breakfast is mostly served at the table by order from the menu."

"We had a wonderful 5-nights stay at Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden. The location is absolutely amazing, surrounded by the beautiful Bavarian Alps and offering breathtaking mountain views. It is also conveniently located close to many sightseeing attractions, making it a great base for exploring the area. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection and excellent quality. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, always happy to answer our questions and assist with anything we needed. Overall, a beautiful hotel in a spectacular location. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!"

"The room was spacious but quite warm due to no air conditioning. Air conditioning was only in the main lobby for the front staff. You had to keep windows open and people around were smoking on the balconies and the smoke would go right into our room. The shower drain cap was also broken/loose. On a positive note the breakfast was Excellent!"

"Nice kid resort in a great town. Kids loved it with plenty to keep them busy. Staff were great. Room nice but a fridge would have been nice. Just can’t give it 5 stars since we missed the first night due to travel issues from abroad and they were unable to work with us and paid for a full night without being there."
