A quiet, small building with only a few rooms, set in a big garden with ample parking. we slept withh the window open, and it was wonderful. It's reasonably close to the highway, and only 15 minutes into Bamberg. The breakfast was good.
The hotel is in a great area to go hiking and to explore a little mountain region in Germany. The hotel was comfortable it had a homey feel to it the room was a bit small but hey it is Germany. Definitely a great mountain escape.
The hotel staff were friendly and kind, from checking in to drinks at the bar and check out they were helpful. The bartender even recommended better wine for us when we made a selection and gave us a sip of what we ordered versus what he gave us to show us the difference. The room was comfortable, it was a simple room which is perfect for Bamberg because you will be out all day and part of the evening anyways in this cute town! I would stay here again for sure!
Wonderful, amazing stay. Property is absolutely beautiful and was super well taken care of. We arrived late at night and got some pizzas at the conveniently located Bar. Traveling with a family of 5. Spa facility was amazing, kids had a great time at the pool and the saunas were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was super friendly.
