"The Golden Tower Hotel is a classically old school luxury hotel with a great location and a wonderfully helpful staff. Intimate, personal and centrally located but just off the highly trafficked tourist paths, it contributed to our great experience of Florence. "The penthouse view is amazing and it’s nice having two rooms and the small kitchen amenities. The view from the patio is the reason to stay here — there is noise from the plaza at night but that’s the trade off for the excellent location. Walk from the train station was doable but a little hard with bigger bags. Red circle is the restaurant patio for the Uffizi gallery. "

"This was a last minute reservation in Firenze and we lucked out. The location is excellent, within a 3 minute walk of the Ponto Vecchio bridge (in the more interesting side). The room felt as if we were staying in a literal palace, with beautiful original art and delightful staff. Only one minor deficiency was the quality of the WiFi, but I suspect this is a regional issue. Would definitely come back here. "

"In the Heart of Florence it’s an older hotel but non the less wonderful! Everything was perfect from check in to check out. Breakfast is delicious and well thought through. The room was excellent and really nice was the table in the lobby/sitting area with fruits, wine and limoncello for the guests. What a wonderful addition to a perfect stay."
