Climb 740 steps up El Peñón de Guatapé for views that justify every huffing breath and Instagram post. "The view from the room was superb, the staff very professional and polite (shoutout to Mateo). The outdoor pool was beautiful. Note that the jacuzzis need to be reserved ahead (1-hour slots). The room was perfect, very comfortable. The included breakfast buffet had a lot of delicious options, and the restaurants also. The pizzas at the Praia restaurant are worth trying. We experienced an earthquake while staying there. Somehow, the staff remained calm and helpful. We loved our stay at The Brown, would 100% recommend."
