"The property is extremely well maintained and provides great value for money. The cleanliness was impressive as were the beds and pillows and easy parking. The complimentary breakfast to take to your room was welcome. Overall, would recommend this motel."

"This restaurant is not a part of the Golf Club! It is an old but nice "guesthouse" that has been modernised and extended out to provide a more roomy bedroom. The attached Ethos Restaurant was high quality and we enjoyed our dinner there. Breakfast in the same space was well provided and enjoyed."

"The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. However the bedroom had only a narrow gap around the bed, which, as I have some difficulty moving around in tight spaces, was a bit of a problem. Similarly the bathroom was extremely small and anyone large or with difficulties walking would find it awkward to move around in."

"From the warm and friendly welcome to the great food in the bistro and spacious comfortable rooms there was nothing I could fault with The Coniston Hotel. The locals are friendly, the specials are generous and the cold beer was great value. Close to the train station and ample parking on-site. A little more pricey than some others I’ve stayed at but worth every penny."
