This hotel is a perfect blend of style at a great price. I booked it because of the separate living areas and it did not disappoint. The staff, the room, and the breakfast was perfect! The only thing to consider is that you’ll need a vehicle to move around since the hotel is on a stretch of road that has no walking amenities. I would highly recommend it if you need a place to rest for 3 or more guest!

We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast included a variety of breads, cold cuts, cheeses, marmalade, yogurts and fruit, boiled egg, juices and Coffee. We were looking for a smaller hotel with a traditional Schwarzwald flair in a beautiful location, and this fit the bill perfectly! This is an old house, but entirely up to modern standards inside, with a friendly staff and warm feel. The room was cozy, looking out on the quiet main plaza with its church. Hotel was very nice and prime location near the mineral baths and park with playground for kids. Slightly inconvenient that the 0 level rooms are still up two small half flights of stairs with no elevator. Was a struggle with 2 kids and all our stuff solo but otherwise wonderful hotel.
Room was very clean and was set up nicely. The room and bathroom were spacious. And a big plus…there was air conditioning, which is not always easy to find in Europe. Staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here!
In the middle of a business trip I met a colleague coming from Zurich for a day in Schaffhausen. This hotel is a five minute walk from the train station and was attractive. Breakfast buffet was very good. In general Schaffausen was expensive but the overall quality of the hotel was good. Wifi was free, a big plus for me.
Chose this hotel for the hiking in the area during a road trip. The staff is amazing, food was great for dinner, and extra things like the sauna are a great touch.
