Was great to just sit at the bar, with my notes and have a drink with dinner, and the hotel restaurant was very relaxing. As a seasoned traveler, I will say the portions/quality for the price of the food - were not the best. I enjoyed the evening, either way in the atmosphere. My room was very nice. Comfy bed, didn't have to beg for pillows - or extra linens, plenty of them! Lovely closet...

Friendly, helpful staff. Roadworks outside were a minor inconvenience, but this is just temporary. My new favourite place to stay in Auckland."
