It was not made clear what in the Kitchenette was included and what was a charge. Did not make coffee or tea because of this. The sky bus to the airport stopped right outside the front door. This was very convenient. The view was great. Sky tower was changed to green for St Patrick’s Day weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful.
We had a very good stay made better by customer service getting us a shower mat for my husband who has trouble walking. They upgraded us to a higher floor which had a fantastic view. Top notch!
Excellent hotel in kind of an Art Deco style in a nice area of Auckland. Not a far walk from the wharf and ferry building. It has a bar on premise with a free drink on arrival. The included continental breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, toasted muesli, Greek yogurt, bread basket and fresh OJ and coffee. Delightful. Excellent location. Staff extremely helpful, courteous, and went out of their way to help us find public transport suitable to our needs. The room was spacious and quite. There is a lot of construction around the hotel, which complicates traffic. Tons of restaurants within wañking distance. Would stay again.
I love that the location was central to everything I needed. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. Everything was clean. The neighborhood was safe and local transportation was easily accessible.

Our stay at SkyCity Hotel was phenomenal! We arrived hours before our check-in, but luckily there was a room that was readily available that they were able to give us. We were able to leave our luggage with the concierge while we went to a breakfast spot across the street that they had recommended. Great location for shopping and food options. We didn’t rent a car, but a lot of places were within walking distance. Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely stay again!
We spent 2 nights in Auckland and found this location to be just perfect. We were away from a lot of the downtown “feel”, while within walking distance of the wharf and a major grocery store as well as some nice eateries. We were able to check out an hour later than scheduled due to travel plans without any added expense. Very happy with our stay here. Great location on the Viaduct Harbour. Very luxurious facilities, on the level of Grand Hyatt or JW Mariott. They have nice spa facilities and gym that are accessible to all guests. Their spa services were wonderful as well.
