"The room and common areas were clean and well maintained. We did not use the pool or gym so cannot comment on those amenities. I would suggest each floor should have both drink and snack vending machines. Our floor had only drinks. Breakfast items were about average, although the scrambled eggs were a very strange texture. They had some large chunky pieces of egg but were also sloppy wet. The plastic cutlery at breakfast, and the toilet paper throughout the hotel, were the absolute cheapest quality. These items really should be upgraded."
Mount Alverno Luxury Resorts

"Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff at check in who told us about the interesting history of the property. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast ( continental) exquisite , and property is vast ( it is being expanded with outbuildings of various purposes). It will be outstanding once complete , but currently is very lovely. Very quiet. Fruit and dessert plate in our frig. Beautiful room and decor."

Maryhill Inn

"We enjoyed our stay in this quaint Inn and tiny town of Mary Hill. The Inn is extremely old with allot of characture. The host's apologized for the Inn's untidiness, as they were in the process of getting ready to close for a couple of weeks to renovate. Unfortunately as a guest we felt like we were just expected to put up with what was to come. We were not previously informed about this. The grounds around the Inn were rather unsightly, with un-roadworthy cars and tatter laying about. Owners were friendly and kind. We took our puppy and they made him feel very welcome playing with their dog Chester. The carpeting in the dining room was stained and dirty. I know the hosts welcome pets, but that doesn't mean the environment should be dirty. Breakfast was delicious even though you didn't have a choice and just had to eat what they were serving that day. The room was small and quaint. Rug was filthy. Arm chair was torn hidden by a throw blanket. Shower drain was loose and dangerous. Claw foot tub looked inviting but the bottom of the tub had allot of paint peeling off and it was sharp. To be honest I'm not sure I will return but wish them well with their bed and breakfast."
Hampton Inn & Suites Orangeville, On
10/10 Excellent
"Everything about our stay was easy! I was with my mom who uses a walker and had requested a room with a shower stall, not tub and with an actual sitting chair, not just desk chair. We got a very spacious king room with a couch. Check in was easy, parking was just in front, navigating up to our room was easy for her. The room also had a nice kitchen counter with sink, microwave & fridge. The room has light blocking shades and overall was very comfortable & clean. I loved the pool and the coffee/tea station in lobby. We saw a few dogs so they obviously welcome pets and we were not bothered by that. The morning breakfast had everything you need, all the basics and was kept filled & clean. All staff we met were very friendly. The Hotel is in a lovely spot on edge of Orangeville and I would highly recommend if you need to stay in the area"
