"We stayed for one night while traveling home after visiting family, and we had a great experience. Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of options to start the day. The location was also convenient for our travel needs. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and we would definitely choose to stay here again the next time we're in the area."

"Great room! Clean, comfy bed and well maintained room. Breakfast was good. We had our little dog with and she found lots of grass to do her business in around the hotel. The neigborhood around the hotel was nice. Only thing I noticed at the hotel is the landscaping needed weeding. Overall a very convenient location. If we are passing through again, we will stop."

Nothing to complain but if need to improve something, would suggest the laundry equipments could be upgraded to let users know how long the washing and drying would be, which would help all the customers a lot. "What a find! We were looking for a hotel outside of St.Louis and asked ChatGPT for suggestions. The overall pick was The Principal. Great ratings, great rate. We were already impressed before we reached the hotel. Columbia is a beautiful city. As we drove down Main St it was like stepping back in time. The hotel has a history you’ll have to discover for yourself. You’ll be very happy you stayed here. Graphite, the restaurant, has to-die-for desserts and Cafe on the Abbey is a must for breakfast (be sure to pick up a pecan brownie to go!). We will be back for sure."
