"Lovely hotel in the centre of Chester. Bedroom was beautifully decorated. Bed very comfortable. Hospitality tray. Good choice at breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel will be closing at the end of next month for refurbishment. Hopefully it will return as good as it is."

"We enjoyed our two night stay at the Indigo in Chester very much. Spotlessly clean and comfortable room though a little short on storage and no useable bedside tables. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the staff pleasant and friendly and the services very good. We took our evening meals in the Forge Restaurant within the hotel where we enjoyed fine food efficiently served. A special thank you to Steph who took such good care of us. This a professionally run establishment which also has a human touch."

"We had a great 3 night stay from start to finish! We will be back! We loved:- Great location Reception / lounge area Canalside room views Friendly, warm welcome! Helpful, cheerful staff! Disabled parking area Offer of room near lift to make it easier for my disabled Mum Moveable shower with good temperature & power controls Comfy beds USB plugs, great to have plugs by each bedside! Blind easy to use, worked well! Fans provided, they are needed, even on canalside! Bathroom cupboard a nice touch! Noise levels lower than expected, quite sound-proofed! Lovely pool, spa & excellent steam room! Better than most we've tried. Swimwear dryers provided. Good housekeeping! Breakfast perfectly adequate, staff very accommodating. Tea & coffee served at your table! Toast done to your liking on request if the toast out isn't to your liking! Restaurant tables nicely spaced out. Breakfast ran very smoothly, well organised & staffing levels very good! Loved seeing all the ducks & 2 ducklings! What could further enhance our enjoyment:- Room lovely but a bit too small, narrow. A bit more storage / drawers Corner shelf in shower as nowhere to put any toiletries Oversink ledge in bathroom Some other seasonal fresh fruit at breakfast rather than tinned fruit in syrup which is unsuitable for diabetics. Atmosphere lacking in restaurant in evening. Vases / tealights to make it feel a bit more special? Please provide French mustard or choice of sauces. Sauna out of action"

"While we had one quick overnight on our trip between London and Glasgow, we wished we had more time at the Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa! We had a huge, well-appointed, spacious room with three beds, vaulted windows overlooking the beautifully landscaped gardens and delicious amenities! We enjoyed breakfast in the Palm Court restaurant, swam (during kids' hours) and walked the gardens. Again, we wish we had time to enjoy the other restaurant and spa!"

"Wonderful hotel in the heart of chester. Easy walk to all visitor centre attractions. Clean hotel with loads of room in the room. Would recommend to anyone. Only downside would be the AC turning off during the night"

"I stayed over one night with my daughter and grandchildren. It was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Staff amazing, hotel room fabulous, restaurant and pool area exceptional. I would definitely stay again. Best hotel I have been to for a very long time. "
