Very nice place to stay, quiet and clean. Amazing view from all rooms. Pool was immaculate and fun to swim in at night and look at the stars. AC was useful due to humidity. We did not need a car but we came for a few days of just going to the beach and not sightseeing. Cabs and public transport easily arranged if we needed.

I cannot wait to go back! I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was really a grouping (of 7 or so) bungalows. The one we stayed in was high on the cliff with a view of the ocean, shoreline, and rocks below. Absolutely unreal!
The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and there were few other guests. I have rented villas on vacation several times, and this is a very similar feeling without the cost or prep.

Brand new. it was a five star hotel for the price of a 3 star. everything worked. deck that overlooks the beach. the location was stellar. days the surf was too high there was a pool. attached to the hotel is a bar/restaurant with above average food. whats not to like about sitting on the beach and eating super tasty food? easy to just stay there or walk a short distance into town. for those who love the beach and the waves this is an excellent choice
What a treat to stay here for two nights, and I wish it was more. With no air and coming from snow country, I was surprised how comfortable the netted bed with ceiling fan within the “tent” would be. I was looking for a complete getaway that was low key and relaxing. The initial drive to Zipolite from Hautulco took longer than expected. It is about 55 miles away and will take up to 1.5 hours to get there due to the one lane road that twists and turns.
