"I had a great stay at The James Hotel Rotterdam and would definitely stay here again. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my two-night stay, which was very important to me. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and much better than some of the reviews I had read beforehand. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Rotterdam and within walking distance of plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés, as well as the metro and tram, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. I also appreciated that the air conditioning worked well, especially during the warmer weather, making the room very comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and found this hotel to be a great choice for anyone visiting Rotterdam. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it, especially for solo travelers."

"Great location, rooms were very clean, A/C worked well, and everything was in great repair. Only constructive feedback is just with directions - the entrance from the street makes you think you’re in the wrong place and the signage to direct you to the check-in could be much clearer. Overall would absolutely recommend and return."

"Loved the hotel and it's location, staff really friendly and helpful and was great to come back from North Sea Jazz and win down before going to bed. Thought the bathroom arrangement could be better, having the sink outside of the shower cubicle was a bit awkward and could've done with a bit more privacy relating to that."

"We arrived late to check in. It wasn’t clear and easy to get into building. Door was locked and no button to call front desk. Luckily someone eventually walked out. Rooms are small, but comfortable. If you don’t like electronics.l, you won’t like this place. Everything is turned on and off with iPad."
