From check in to check out, the staff were lovely and attentive. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a variety of pastries and fruit. The hotel room was comfortable and spacious. The furnishings were new and modern. The bathroom was also roomy and they provided toiletries. Great place to stay for a night or two (or more). It was very close to Rabat Ville train station and to the tram.
Nice part of town with friendly staff. Close to Medina and other sightseeing places. They kindly upgraded our room to a room with view of the square and park across the street.
A great value. Comfortable room, including breakfast, fabulous rooftop terrace to relax after a busy day of touring. Gives one a great feeling for life in a Riad. Off a busy market street and near interesting historical sites. Near the wonderful market.
The owner and staff were very nice, and the included breakfast was great, as was the rooftop terrace and the small pool. The hotel's dinner (which we had only once) was a bit limited and slightly pricey for Morocco, but very good. There were several small street cafes within 50 yards of this place, as well as a variety of street food. The best thing about Dar Tahar is Ihssane who looked after us and cooked us lovely Moroccan breakfast. The Riad is well situated and we had a lovely couple of days.

5 minute walk from th Oudaya kasba
The architecture of this historic riad was stunning - and the owners have done a beautiful job restoring it. The staff were very helpful. We also really loved the Rabat Medina - it is less touristy than Fez, Marrakech or Tangier - and the vendors were less aggressive than those cities.
