This was the best place I could have chosen for my week long visit to Valparaiso! Set atop a small hill a mile south of Sotomayor Square the guest house is in a more quiet neighborhood. This area is convenient for visiting the UNESCO areas, but much more peaceful and safe for walking around. I was apprehensive because when I first arrived, I thought the taxi would drop me right at the front door but the hotel is located in a passageway. I was prepared to stay the night and then look for another hotel, but the location is great and it is a boutique hotel with charm. The staff, Veronica and Flaviola were terrific and fussed over me. I stayed all three nights and I am not sorry and would stay here again.
