"Great boutique hotel with owners present on site. Tony was there to greet us and send us off when we left. Tony makes sure that the coffee is ready and the breakfast foods are fully stocked. Lots of breakfast items to choose from. Very close to Easton Beach and to the Cliff Walk."

"The Mill Street Inn is perfectly located for seeing Newport. The Inn is located one block from great restaurants and shops on Thames. If you walk two blocks the other direction you are at the Tram stop to take you out to Cliff Walk and the Gilded Age mansions. The staff was courteous and friendly. We were given maps and advise on dining out. The breakfast is delicious. We will always choose Mill Street Inn when coming to Newport."

"Wonderful recent weekend stay at Gilded. The hotel is in the perfect location to explore Newport by foot. The hotel experience certainly felt very guest friendly and welcoming throughout our stay and the rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The complimentary small plates breakfast was superb. "Check in Was easy. Manny was really helpful for ideas on where to eat and shop. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The morning breakfast was a good way to start the day. The proteins changed each day. The breakfast staff made sure the food was restocked and kept the area really clean. Madison got us checked in in a hurry and we were on our way. This Middletown location is a quick 10 minute drive to everything Newport has to offer and we would definitely book here again."

Within walking distance there are many restaurants, we ordered food from two within a 3 minute walk. The hotel buffet breakfast was better the normal and coffee anytime of day. Pool water was warm with many towels. We are 2 seniors and would like to return when the price is right."
