"A wonderful experience in Gran Canaria with this outstanding hotel – Gloria Royal Palace Hotel & Spa. Receptions are very nice and helpful. Breakfast Buffet with many different choices of food and drinks. I highly recommend the OMELETTE which is prepared on-site by the chef. Yummy!! Guests staying in the hotel would prefer the outdoor pool. Therefore, the hydromassage station is not crowded. Convenient location, it takes only 6 mins drive to Mogan Mall. Excellent hotel, not to be missed."

You might want to practice your swing at Salobre Golf Resort, a golf course located 10.8 mi (17.4 km) from central San Bartolomé de Tirajana. Hotels.com travelers also say the area is full of friendly people and has lots of nice beaches. If Salobre Golf Resort doesn't quite scratch your golfing itch, Maspalomas Golf Course, and Anfi Tauro Golf Course are also nearby.
Staff was great and I would go back. Looked like the pictures and they had amenities like washer/dryer on site. Set up a taxi for me to the airport and had a night person in case of anything.
Perfect weather for cycling. If you want a swimming vacation go to the usvi. They have a great outdoor and indoor pool. Outdoor is 25 degrees C and indoor 35 C. Wonderful steam room and sauna. Great time.
My family stayed here (3 children - 9, 7, & 5) and we absolutely loved it. The view toward the beach was amazing. It was wonderful sitting on the balcony at night watching the sunset. The walk to the nearest beach took us about 10 minutes. There is a great running trail options around here with a point of interest (i.e. stairs) that you can tackle. The staff was friendly and helped us with any and everything we needed. We will definitely be back!
Great Hotel! We enjoyed the room, the pools, one of the better gyms offered at any hotel we've stayed in, and the proximity to the beach and restaurants was very convenient.
Being one of the few women at this property during my stay, I was first a little taken back that I wouldn't be accepted. First, I would like to say from the moment I stepped into the reception area, the young, pleasant man immediately knew who to expect I(hardly a surprise as I was the only woman checking in that day). HOWEVER, he and staff were highly engaging and pleasant throughout the entire stay. As an "older" (59...is apparently old these days) who speaks no Spanish, I had trepidations...
I enjoyed my stay here, even though it was very short. Just to sleep before an early morning flight. I really appreciated how they assisted me in arranging a taxi to the airport the night before my flight. And, since I’d be missing the included breakfast, they packed me a bagged breakfast/lunch of donuts, a sandwich, an apple, and a bottle of water. Very kind of them and exceptional customer service. This resort was great! We asked for the buffet breakfast only and it was great with tables and tables of foods to choose from! We dined at the other available restaurants for dinners in the resort most of the time and found them to be wonderful as well. We asked for a balcony with a sea view that we thoroughly enjoyed. This is the perfect resort to relax and rejuvenate! The staff takes excellent care of you and the property. The food is outstanding and we highly recommend selecting the half board option. It is WELL worth it. The pool is the best pool we have ever been in. Perfect distance to the beach as well … we did the pool after breakfast and the beach in the afternoon. The hotel provides beach bags with water and towels. I would stay at this property again and again!
The apartments were great. They are divided in two floors so you had the bedroom upstairs and living room and kitchen below. We really enjoyed having our breakfast on the terrace outside. The pool are was great with plenty of room for everyone. The service in the pool restaurant was outstanding. Worth mentioning was Alvaro’s kindness and high service level. It was easy to park our rented car either at the property or right across the street. All in all, we want to repeat this stay in the future.
My family and I went here for spring break, the weather was amazing and the beach was within a 10 minute walk. One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at! Love the activities in the evening and the breakfast buffet was amazing! Absolutely recommended again!
