"Lovely hotel, full of character and charm with the most friendliest and helpful of staff. Excellent location in the centre of the city close to the major sights and attractions. Good amenities in room and very quiet. Enjoyed delicious breakfast and evening meal in Jansz restaurant and found the Garden relaxing and the Pulitzer Bar very atmospheric and a lovely way to end the day, both of which are used by locals too. Very kind touch with card and treats given on the occasion of my birthday by the hotel. Have stayed here several times before and cannot wait to return."
"Pros:
The location was great. Beautiful views and just far away enough from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still walkable.
Clean and spacious rooms. Very comfortable.
Staff was polite and accommodating.
The only con I can think of is that the elevators were not always responsive, and the stairs that led to the main lobby only went down to the 3rd floor. Finding the other stairs was a bit of a trek.
All in all, we would definitely recommend."
"The staff was very helpful from the time we arrived. The property is located in a beautiful area within walking distance of many wonderful sights. Our room was comfy and clean with great a/c. Highly recommend this property for your stay in Amsterdam."
"The location can’t be beat in my opinion, steps away from all the canal tours and train station. Easily walkable wherever you want to go or the main tram stop is right there. Had a cosy room, comfortable double bed, room was small but well appointed and had everything I need. Staff were very friendly and helpful."
"We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Convenient location to shops, restaurants and sightseeing. Delighted that the mini bar was included at no charge and the staff ensured that we were stocked up. We were notified that the pool was out of service and it was unfortunate as we would have loved to be able to use it given the hot weather. Overall, would recommend"
