The setting of this hotel is excellent and less than 30 min away from Bern. Its very peaceful at night and the people warm, hospitable and so kind. We took our 5 month baby there and genuinely enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Bern or simply wants to get away for arms peaceful time. Congratulations to all the people of the hotel. Great job! We walked outside in the beautiful open park and enjoyed watching the cows from the nearby meadow.
Amazing service and beautiful hotel! We loved the views from our 3 large windows with views from every angle. The included breakfast was delicious with many hot item choices as well as a buffet with various breads, fruits, cereals and yogurts. I enjoyed the cappuccino and my husband loved the hot chocolate. The property appears to be brand new, modern, and comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. It is not walkable from the railway station or from the town of Thun but there is a convenient bus that ends in a station opposite the hotel. It takes about 10-12 minutes on that bus to arrive from the railway station.
This Hotel is wonderful in every way! The staff was very accommodating and surprised us with an upgrade to a suite which had a huge balcony, kitchen, 2 baths and a living room. Did I mention 2 TVs! We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Eden! It is a beautiful property, amazing views and the perfect couples retreat! This hotel is in the most beautiful setting right on Lake Thun. A gorgeous lawn leading down to the lake with recliners, tables and chairs, a bar, large chess board, and a place to go swimming. They also have a wonderful spa. The breakfast has so much variety to keep you going for the day. I especially loved the view from my room with a balcony overlooking the lake and mountains.
Rooms were superb with many included amenities. Free parking on the street was limited but a nice perk. Just a few steps from the bus stop and very walkable in the old-town of Burgdorf. Will definitely return!
