"Our second stay at the Grand Savoia in Genoa. Wonderful hotel, full of history and old world luxury. Room was spacious & clean. Staff took care of every request we made. Breakfast spread was one the best we have experienced in Italy. Massage service at the spa was wonderful. Bathtub may be difficult for elderly and or persons with mobility issues, at least in our room."

"Situated across the street from Genoa harbor, great location for walking to food, shops, attractions and 15 mibute walk from train station. Good size rooms, friendly staff. The only negative was that our shower had some visible mold in it."

"No common areas like traditional hotels, otherwise just like any hotel (you just have to ring the bell at front door to get in). Clean room, silent air conditioning in the room, friendly staff and a good breakfast. I would come again! Location is very good, near both Genova Brignole train station and Piazza de Ferrari, which is a plus."

"Firstly, I would like to say that the man at the front desk was nice, but communication prior to my arrival was dreadful! I wanted to amend my booking within 8hrs of booking it, and was given the run around!!! I ended up paying for a supposedly bigger room which was the same size as the supposed smaller room, it just had an extra bed squashed in there that made it feel very small and not even big enough to accommodate three people let alone five! The breakfast was good and so was the location,...
