"Home hotel Katajanokka was a great find in Helsinki. It was a very interesting hotel because of its history as a former prison but it has been given modern rooms and communal areas so it is now a stylish place to stay. Breakfast was excellent in quality and choice every day and the light evening meal we also had once and that was good too. The hotel is just a 10min walk into the centre of Helsinki, with the marina even closer. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to Finland."

"I really love staying at this hotel. I frequently travel to Espoo and i enjoy my stay there. breakfast is reelly good and worth it. a mall with supermarkets, bars etc is right next to the hotel, public transportation and restaurants are nearby. sauna could be bigger and men and women are separated in the sauna which can be a plus if you travel alone especially as a women, but negative if you travel with your partner."

After a noisy night in the city center it was nice to come to the middle of peaceful nature and a quiet hotel where you could sleep well. I was surprised, however, that in a hotel of this level the double bed was quite lousy. In the morning there was a typical somehow average Finnish breakfast with bread and coffee without any specialities. In the future i will consider this hotel when training in Helsinki. "
