There is a nice market nearby if you want a bite on the cheap and the Cité du Vin museum is also a walking distance away. The old naval base, now an audiovisual installation, is right next to the hotel."

It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood so it’s a 15 minute walk to the city centre but well worth it, especially with the refreshing pool after a full day of seeing what Bordeaux has to offer. Delicious breakfast and also does an evening meal on the pretty terrace, perfect if you have travelled far and don’t want to venture too far, although they provided great recommendations nearby for our other nights. Our room in the tower was amazing, huge comfortable bed. If traveling to Bordeaux and want a superb place to stay Yndo is highly recommended "

"Very good choice for a stay in Bordeaux. It's in a great area, walkable to most sights and the train station. The hotel is very modern and has an adequate kitchenette for breakfast and lunches. Close to lots of restaurants and a good-sized grocery. Also within walking distance of the Marche Royal - St Michel and the Marche des Capucine for wonderful fresh foods. The bakeries are too tempting for words. "

"Lovely place to stay! Had the balcony room and it was so nice to sit out on it enjoying a cup of espresso in the morning overlooking the park across the street. Location was really convenient - walked primarily but also took advantage of the e-scooter rentals within 200m. The staff person was super pleasant and helpful here - she added an extra croissant for us on subsequent mornings seeing we enjoyed them so much. Highly recommend to stay here!"
