"We came to stay as we had a wedding in Crail. It was a fantastic base for exploring St Andrews and the surrounding areas. The site itself has lots to do and the room was perfect for our needs. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast was lovely. Thank you for our trip :)"

"Beautiful hotel and grounds in a great area, within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and riverside walk. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was superb with no wait. The hotel is a little run-down and needing investment but that was reflected in the price I paid; the overall experience and service was first rate."

"A Magical Stay Fit for Royalty! We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunning castle, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the charm, elegance, and attention to detail in every corner of the property. It felt like a step back in time- with all the modern comforts perfectly blended in. The breakfast was nothing short of extraordinary with local treats like cheeses and meat, butteries and fresh yogurt. Every morning felt...

"Good stay, hotel was a room for the night and fit that bill. Food and drink were good."

"Very clean and quiet hotel , rooms were comfortable with a huge bed. Excellent dinner menu and delicious breakfast. Friendly staff too."

"Was initially taken aback at how run down the exterior of the hotel is. No staff at the hotel - you receive a code which you use to open a key safe, where you find a key to the front door and your room. Room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable but we never saw a living soul so I found it a bit spooky. Great location."

"Great place to stay. Comfy bed and nice bathroom. Great location and friendly host."
