This was a very memorable place that I visited. It is in the rural area of japan, you can really feel the realness of the area. It's in gifu however it's definitely not a tourist trap area. The owners of the establishment reminded me of my grandmother. You are not getting a hotle with this stay more of a B&B, it definitely felt like I a was sleeping over a japanese grandma's house. They also gave grate advice on a nice local restaurant at the bottom of a locals Mt that you can hike after to see...
Nice new and clean rooms with all the things you need (not very well insulated though). In the close proximity to the Hotel there wasn't much in matter of eating out or shops, but 10min+ walk would get you where needed. And 20min+ walk to either of nearest train stations. But overall it was a pretty good value.

It was beautiful inside and very intimate. The little cafe was cozy and had snacks all day long plus coffee and tea. There is a private onsen and little garden. I sadly missed the breakfast that they offered to us as i was so tired and comfy in the bed i had trouble getting up. The room was beautiful with great amenities and drinks for you. Wow, we just finished an unbelievable stay at this wonderful brand new hotel. The building and accommodations were stunningly beautiful. Artistic grandeur at every turn. Wonderful views of Nagoya Castle and their own private Japanese garden. An extraordinary swimming pool, onsen, and sauna with full cedar logs.

Love these properties. They all are the same so you know what you get. The beds are soooo comfy! There is good coffee, tea, and miso soup packet 24 hours a day. It was extremely clean. My only thing I didnt like is they lock the AC at 23 and it was so warm i couldn’t sleep. The next day they unlocked it for me and i slept perfectly. Staff was very polite. Wifi worked well, shower pressure was great. They also have breakfast set deals at a nearby restaurant , but i saw it too late to use it.

Great hotel with a private sauna in every room. The beds are comfortable and there is a small refrigerator with a freezer in the room. We spent a long day of walking around Gifu Castle and Gifu park, so we enjoyed relaxing in the sauna after. And we went to the hotel's roof top space and looked at the stars. Also, there are 6 free parking spaces but they were full when we went, but directly across the street is a one day/¥400 ($2.50) parking space. Very affordable and convenient.
