"Boxo might be more suitable for travellers who are looking for very basic place for stay. Keep in mind that it is literally a sea container turned into a tiny room. One thing I was very upset during the breakfast is that only 1 cup of coffee is included (which unfortunately tasted quite flat). In the main restaurant served food way so-so. Quite didn’t enjoyed a food there. However, staff is very friendly and nice. "

Having a kitchen allowed me to stay in if I wanted, but the apartment was also close to bars and restaurants. There is a close-by bar that plays loud music, but not super late, and I actually liked hearing the local music. The people I met were so friendly! And really, the host was very accommodating and responded to questions...

Pros: Great price, you get a kitchen , bedroom, livingroom, bathroom and large balcony. The staff is excellent. It's peaceful. The pool is wonderful. Breakfast buffet is ok with a good variety. I didnt eat lunch or dinner there.
Cons: Internet doesnt really work in the rooms. You have to go to the lobby or poolside. Both times i stayed the air...

The shower head fell off twice and needs replacing. Due to a management changeover the visa machine was not working so paying at the property was a problem. The beach is 700 metres walk away along two rough roads so takes 20 minutes or 200 to 250 KSH with either Uber or the villa taxi service. Several good restaurants and two supermarkets...
