"Decent sized room and bed and bathroom was clean. Room carpet let it down with some horrible stains on it and floor boards were creaky throughout the hotel. We have a yearly family get together nearby so location was good and we will likely return next year if prices are competitive. Air conditioning was good in the room and made a big difference."

"Lovely place to stay. Each room has its own front door onto the car park. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The food and drink in the pub is really nice and the breakfast is brilliant. Will stay again if in the area. "

Although the hotel is a ten minute walk to Depatures as a couple over 70 years old , we found it very tiring at 7 o`clock in the morning to push our heavy suitcases uphill. It is a pity they have no shuttle bus.Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay."

Main area had a comfy double bed with plenty of space around it, bedside units, long dressing table and large tv. There was a big dressing area with clothes storage and then a good size bathroom. Rain shower was centred in the bath so one could move freely under the powerful spray.
We ate in the restaurant and found the meals to be generous, tasty and very good value. Bar prices were also...

Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh!

"We stayed in one of the cottages with our 2 dogs. These cottages are ideal if you have pets. This is our 2nd stay this year and will not be the last. The only downside is that the parking is a bit away from the cottages. There is 2 parking places for many cottages. We have a blue badge but can't be used. It is a fair walk with the luggage our dogs and their pet beds. But the room is very good and ideal for pets. The shower is probably the most powerful shower i have ever used."
