I never really do boutique hotels, but I was not only pleasantly surprised, but I can't wait to go back. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff so friendly and helpful PLUS it was in a great location with easy walking to plenty of great restaurants and shopping.
This is a very cool hotel in a great neighborhood filled with pubs, shops, restaurants and gardens. The hotel is on a bus line and a short walk from Richmond Station, allowing access to all of London.
We loved the Petersham and our wonderful view of the Thames and the Petersham Common. It was delightful to watch people run and walk their dogs. Calling a taxi or an Uber was a great option, but walking back toward Richmond and Kew along the Thames or up along Richmond Hill was tranquil and just lovely. We had high tea and a great English breakfast. To not stay in London and to explore Kew Gardens and see the lovely shops and restaurants Richmond has to offer was a great getaway!
I loved this hotel! The staff is very kind. It is easy to get off of the metro and walk around the corner. Just make sure you take the metro to the Kew stop. Kew is an adorable town. The breakfast is amazing as well!
Went on holiday for a couple weeks in the UK. This was my favorite room that I rented due to the kind owner and the amenities. The room had a Microwave & Refrigerator/freezer, which is something that all of the other hotel rooms I rented lacked. The neighborhood was nice and it was pleasant able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, train station and Kew Gardens/Palace. I felt safe walking around even when it started to get dark. The room was very affordable too in comparison to the nearby...
We enjoyed the holiday decor and the art installations. They also provided a celebratory wine and desert treat for our anniversary. It’s a beautiful property in the heart of London.
Wonderful hotel in a convenient location in London but not in the hustle and bustle. We walked to everything but the Tower. Tube station very close. Concierges were outstanding. We had a problem with our room and they went above and beyond to resolve it. If we go back to London, we will stay here.
