"The good things about the Clayton were the size of the room and the comfort of the beds. The bathroom was also a good size with good water pressure in the shower. And there was adequate storage space. The not so good: no facecloths in the bathroom; the room took a really long time to warm up once we put the heat on; the TV remote control had Netflix and Prime Video buttons on it, but they weren't connected. Since we were only staying one night and getting up early the next morning, we were planning to watch TV in the room, but there wasn't much choice without the streaming options."

"They say “the people make the place”, it’s so true. The Hotel is really well situated for sightseeing and transport ( Aircoach stops right outside) We were welcomed at the door and helped with our cases. The staff on the desk were very efficient and friendly. Our room was lovely and very clean, housekeeping was also very good, we were on the 5th floor and the corridor always smelled fresh. We had breakfast in the hotel, it had a great selection and the buffet was constantly being refreshed. The hotel always had plenty of staff in the Lobby and as we were two females visiting the city, the hotel felt like a very safe. All the staff that we spoke to were exceptional but ,we would like to send extra special thanks to Michael, what an asset he is to the hotel, always happy to help and always smiling and we enjoyed speaking to him each day. We will come back to Dublin next year and we will stay at the Gresham, it’s beautiful."

"We always enjoy coming to the Ashling when in Dublin. The staff was super helpful, especially when this time traveling with an infant. We were able to be checked in early and room was always well taken care of. Close to the Dublin Zoo, Jameson Bow Street, and with easy access to Hueston Station and Luas, puts the Ashling in a great location. And the Iveagh Bar is a nice place to relax with a drink at the end of the day."
