We loved this place and it was by far the best place we stayed during our time in Italy. The property is breathtaking and the service/staff is amazing. All the food we had was phenomenal and fresh. The wine is to die for. This is the type of place that is so good that you almost don’t want to tell people about it to keep it secret. Hope to be back again someday.

The breakfast was quite varied, ample selection and very tasty. Coffee and juice was fresh. Service was also good. We had dinner there one night and it was also very good and a solid wine selection. The room was well appointed. The bed was comfortable and linens fresh and cotton. The 2nd floor open area has a great view of the Siena towers. Located in a gorgeous hill top picture-perfect sits this jewel of a hotel and spa! You are a 3 minute walk from one of the great restaurants in Europe the two star Arnolfo! Great base to enjoy Tuscany from.

My husband and I have been fortunate to stay in many of the best hotels, both large and small, in the world. Getting here was a bit tricky, as the map we were given in the welcome email was of bad quality, so it didn't take us to the correct place right away, but we figured it out, very minor. My husband and I stayed at the Santa Caterina for four nights. Normally we like to stay in the center of town, but I booked the Santa Caterina based on its reviews, and I'm so glad I did! Tasteful decoration and cozy atmosphere; makes you want to stay and relax in the terrace or reading room. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Excellent location (5 minas walk to the center of Siena), surrounded by trees, perfect if you hace a rented car and can go back and forth between Tuscan towns.
