"Lopesan Costa Bavaro is a gem. We stayed for a week. Three generations of our family went, ten in four rooms. Food was great from the wide assortment at the buffet and the specialty restaurants. Our group especially liked the Italian and the Japanese restaurants. "

"We made a last minute reservation due to a cancelled flight. They were able to accommodate us without issue. Check in was fast, room large and comfortable and staff very friendly. Steak restaurant and buffet both had excellent food and I love that the specialty restaurants don't require reservations!!"

"We spent a week at Barcelo Barbara Palace. The service was excellent. The staff were all very friendly. The food was excellent and there was a ride variety of all types of dishes for Young and Old that you could choose from. The resort is big but well organized so it doesn’t take much to get from one area to another. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a terrific getaway for families or groups of adults. "

"Resort was super clean!!! All areas!! Julio Baez in Preferred Lounge one of the best, he was entertaining, and made great drinks. They could use some more lively music in there though. Orlando our butler was great, made us our massage appointment, dinner reservations, luggage pick up and was always checking to see if we needed anything!! All the staff was great though too."

"Food at the buffet could be better. Our butler Kelvin is truly an amazing person!! I misplaced my cell phone and he was able to track it down for me, he booked dinner reservations and excursions for us. He is sooo wonderful!! Highly recommend him and the resort !!!"
