"Bodhi Retreat is a nice hotel in Rajgir. Place is clean and staff very helpful. Food on the rooftop restaurant was excellent. Shower and AC needs some tweaks to make it more effective, but overall, a good stay for a group of European tourists visiting a local event. "

"We loved our stay here! We were in the area picking up our adopted daughter and the staff was incredible helpful and accommodating with the travel and helping her adjust. The property was clean and spacious. Food was wonderful. In the gated colony, there is a temple, museum, and park for walking. We are very thankful to the staff for their kindness during our stay."

He arranged the room according to our requirements and also arranged a taxi for our return trip to Gaya station. And a special thanks to Bittu bhai, who drove us to Gaya. "This is a 3 star hotel located about 1.5 miles from the Mahabodhi temple and the Bodhi tree. (When I booked it, the map showed it being very close, but it isn't.) It mostly caters to an Asian audience (Indian, Thai, Tibetan). The restaurant is excellent, as are its prices. (I would order a la carte instead of doing buffets). The room is a bit old and quite small. The bathroom was very nice. The staff is for the most part very friendly and helpful. "
