Hotel Stelvio Tirano
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were very helpful. Since they had no rooms available for our return stay, they assisted us with bag storage, even though we were returning to another hotel. Breakfast was adequate and met our needs."
Bernina Suites - 150 metres to Bernina Express
10/10 Excellent
"Bernina Suites was a very comfortable, clean, quiet and convenient apartment located in the beautiful town of Tirano. We totally enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it for families. Thank You! 🙏"
QC Grand Hotel Bagni Nuovi Bormio
10/10 Excellent
"Wow! We are sooo happy we last minute booked this hotel! We spent a lot of time in all the different pools and even booked a couples massage. I would tell anyone to stay here. Also the breakfast was amazing!"
Terra Hotel Tirano
10/10 Excellent
"I have nothing but praise for this hotel. Location is beautiful. Extremely handy for train travellers and although it is located in a quiet pedestrianised street leading to a nice square, there is a lively atmosphere with lots of family owned bars and restaurants. The staff is the best! Our train was severely delayed which means we would be arriving after reception closed at 8pm. Alessia was extremely kind to send us very clear instructions on how to self-check in. However to our surprised she was still at reception waiting when we arrived and upgraded us to a suite, much to my teenage daughter's delight. The hotel also owns Merizzi, a restaurant literally two doors down. Italian food is always delicious but this restaurant is even better! All primi and secondi plates were super tasty and nice. Federico was very attentive and pleasant too. The room was super clean and modern with all that you would expect and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Very quiet too despite very close to the train station. Breakfast the following day was great with a lot of choice of hot and cold food offerings, plus pastries and Italian cakes (the torta della nonna was something else!) If we ever come back to the area we will definitely be staying in this hotel. :-)"
Sunstar Pontresina
10/10 Excellent
"The location was great. Close to the station and some good hikes. The breakfast buffets was good. The rooms were spacious and nice."
Hotel Helvetia
8/10 Good
"A rather small and awkward attic room, but clean and the bathroom was great. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but we used the restaurant once and the good was great. Lovely staff and nothing to really complain about... But still not as good as we expected."
Hotel Baita Clementi
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, good sized rooms. Views from bedroom window was stunning. Fantastic breakfast. Staff very helpful. Definitely would stay again"
Hotel Bernina
10/10 Excellent
"A bit hot, used to air conditioning. Otherwise was adequate for our needs."
Albergo Quarto Pirovano
8/10 Good
"It was the perfect place to rest up after riding the Stelvio Pass via motorbike with my wife. Staff were helpful and the main issue with things was me just being groggy after the ride and at that elevation. Looks like they really cater to the ski crowd, so the place is setup for that in a somewhat dated and worn way, but perfectly lovely and functional. I would recommend it as a spot for the weary Stelvio Pass traveler and am interested to see it in its winter glory sometime."
